There is no way I can get an appointment with this surgery for non emergency. I regreat registering here.even I call 8.20 I can't book an appointment for next week Thursday. Unbelievable. I hv to see a small surgery than this fancy ones..but I met Dr haque. He is very good.
Brilliant Doctors Awful booking system,appointments are so difficult to obtain.The online booking portal has no appointments for a week.You call up in the morning and no appointments are available for a week please call back timorrow when they release some more and so it goes on, the last time I actually booked an appointment I had to attend in person at opening time to secure an appointment.There has to be a better way I kind of figure you either get better or die before you see a Doctor in some cases.
I don't have many stresses in life, but since moving to Maples Surgery, I find one of the most stressful tasks I now have is to get an urgent appointment for my son at this surgery. Previously, I have been turned away from the receptionists desk at 8am and midday (on separate days) because I now need to ring them at 8am and not go into the surgery to book an appointment, yet yesterday, I was told to get there the following morning at 8am to book an appointment. (It is just one staff member which I find unhelpful, to the extreme).I have been asked to log online to book an appointment, but I have yet to see an appointment available online that I can book and Admin staff are not able to help other than to say maybe I have an issue - note, I have been registered online for two months now.I'm very confused at how this surgery wants me to book appointments.I am very pleased with the doctors and nurses once I get to see them, but how the practice is run............ it's bewildering to me.Plus, I am very pleased with the new telphone system that allows you to wait and not have to keep ringing (over 42 times once and still didn't get an appointment).
As a cancer sufferer looking to get a lump investigated. I used the online service. No response...no response!Meanwhile,,, you sit in the reception and its yak yak yak...or discussing peoples affairs over the counter.Still...if i hang on, am sure my dependents will be able to put a negligence claim in.Are there any clinicians working here! If so wake up.
Sadly, this is yet another negative review for this practice. They have made it almost impossible to get an appointment unless you physically go in and stand in front of them.People with full-time jobs and without the benefit of working from home are basically screwed, as they will never get through on the phone, and the Systmonline service - which is potentially a very useful service - never has any appointments available. Please take note - every review on this site is very complimentary about the doctors, but angry and frustrated at the shockingly awful processes that administer the practice.
